ABOUT

CENTER FOR RESTORATIVE AND TRANSFORMATIVE PRACTICE

The Center for Restorative and Transformative Practice (CRTP) supports people, organizations, and institutions through approaches that center connection, accountability, and intentional practice. We work across communities, higher education, youth-serving spaces, and organizational systems to strengthen relationships, deepen practice, and help people and programs move in alignment with their values. Our work spans training, consulting, curriculum design, and systems development. We partner with institutions and practitioners who are committed to creating environments where people feel seen, supported, and grounded—and where culture is shaped by how we show up every day.

Our mission is to expand restorative and transformative approaches across communities and institutions by offering practices, strategies, and structures that honor people and strengthen systems. We aim to make learning accessible, culturally responsive, and grounded in real experience, supporting meaningful and sustainable change.

We integrate restorative and transformative frameworks with culturally responsive pedagogy, equity-centered practice, and trauma- and violence-informed awareness. Our work supports people and institutions in strengthening relationships, deepening practice, and reimagining the structures, curriculum, and systems that shape how communities learn, lead, and grow. We center people, culture, and context, valuing honest communication, community-rooted learning, and practices that create belonging. Our work is guided by care, accountability, and intentionality, helping individuals and institutions move in ways that reflect who they want to be.

CRTP partners with youth-serving organizations, higher education and graduate programs, schools and educators, nonprofits and community-based institutions, emerging clinicians and mental health practitioners, programs supporting system-impacted families, and leadership teams across sectors. We meet people where they are—whether building foundational understanding or deepening long-term practice. Our work includes professional development and training, curriculum development, organizational consulting and systems design, culture and program development, restorative and transformative facilitation, and workshops for educators, leaders, and practitioners. We support partners across Chicago and nationwide who are committed to building environments where connection, clarity, and growth can thrive.

Founded by Rosondunnii Marshall, LMFT, CRTP is led with a commitment to relational accountability, cultural grounding, clarity, and collective growth. Rosondunnii is a licensed marriage and family therapist, educator, and researcher with over a decade of experience supporting youth, families, community organizations, and higher education programs. Her work blends restorative and transformative practice, culturally responsive pedagogy, and systems-focused consulting to help people and institutions strengthen practice and align their work with their values.
